I can taste victory...

...yet I'll be sad when it's over. I've been working on the boys' room this week. I have two of the three "normal" walls painted. I saved the smallest one for last...the yellow wall.

The boys' told me what wall to paint, what day to paint it, and what color to paint it. We decided to paint each of the remaining walls a different color. They chose green, orange and yellow. I have to say it's AWESOME! Tell me what you think....

These first two pictures are of the mural I painted. I still have some detailing to do, but for the most part it's finished.

This is a picture of the mural I painted closest to the windows. When Noah and I lived upstairs, this room was our living room. Our couch sat in front of this wall.

This is the other half of the mural. It covers the whole 8X10 foot area. The picture overlaps the first one, but you get the picture.

This is the Green wall. Manny's turtle is located here. "Whoa, my turtle is on the wall!" I told him he can watch his turtle climb the wall while he watches his movies. "Yeah, that will be fun."

The turtle is make of metal. It's supposed to be in a garden/patio area, but when have I ever followed directions on a product? Why start now. There is also a fish I'm going to hang up.

This is the Orange wall. I think this is my favorite wall of them all. Yes even the mural. I printed off some surfing signs, framed them, and surrounded the surf boards. The item on the dresser is a rotating fish lamp. It's pretty cool!

Tomorrow I'll finish up the room by painting the Yellow wall. So what's the next room to tackle? Vickie told me she bought all the paint for the new tenants at her old apartment, and they told her it cost too much money, so she's stuck with 6 gallons of different color paint. One of the colors I'm very interested in. Just have to figure out what is under all the stupid paneling in the living room....hummmm...
Good night to y'all. I need to get up early for work. Coming home earlier than normal....that's a whole other story...
